For bad or for worse, this project has changed A LOT.
Instead of the semi-free roaming game that has been before, the with the Half-Life style storytelling and survival type gameplay, a whole new system has been made.
The best way to describe it is a combination of Oblivion, Grand Theft Auto, God of War, and Fallout.
Yep, that's a lot to take in, but here's the general overview.
The year is something everyone has forgotten, who could care when the whole world has been burnt out?
Famine, he's taken all our food, our sustenance, even the water we used to drink, now we grovel the ruins for anything to eat, cockroaches, rats, and even eachother.
He came in a chariot of flies and black smoke, and it swept over our cities and boiled the stomachs of all the sinners, his way was slow and painful.
Pestilence, he's given us sores, boils, plagues, and deadly afflictions never before known to man. We survive in sterilization or else his deadly sickness will overtake us without warning.
Death, he's taken our lives, and given them new breath. His dead walk the earth as shallow husks of their former selves, they do not hunger, think, or show remorse, their only purpose is to spread the message of their leader, death riding on the shoulders of its father.
War, he's taken our side, he's kill our comrades, but he marches with us. His will seems benevolent, but we all know why he's here, he leads war against the other horseman, bringing his own means to an end that will satisfy his endless craving.
We live in an endless desert, with only the broken torn husks of once proud cities standing as reminders to our tortured existance.

How's it work?
You are War, while at first your purpose was strong, and you led the remainders of human civilization to war, men have soon come to realize your true intent.
Your objective in this game is to continue your purpose, to cause strife and war. Unfortuantly, this will not be easy, as you will need to take the form of a mortal to disguise yourself from the ordinary human beings walking the earth.
You have two forms.
Mortal - All human beings are oblivious to your identity, they see you just as is, a bag of flesh, you are vulnerable in this form, a bullet can and will take you down, but this is the only way you can join the several roaming desert gangs/territories and continue your purpose on this planet.
Horseman - In this form, all humans will become hostile, and attempt to escape while shooting you down. Although you cannot die in this form, and while you are larger and far more powerful, you are much slower, and several bullets can knock you down, leading to a slow rebalance. This form will mainly be used to combat the effects of the other horseman, and to destroy Death's legions of zombies.

Areas - There are a few areas in the game, most of them are either pure desert, small patches of green, destroyed cities occupied by humans, or destroyed cities infested by the dead. Areas occupied with the dead usually hold human artifacts such as music (which you can listen to if you happen to find any human vehicles) guns, clothing, gear, and etc.
Vehicles - You will be able to drive vehicles in this game, and you can listen to several music tracks while you do so.
Weapons- There are several weapons, including human weaponry such as guns, spears, etc. but there is also godly weaponry, which includes things like War's flaming whip or Death's zombie raising war ax.

This is just a basic rundown of what the new game is, but I'm a bit too lazy (and too busy working on the thing itself) to right more.
I'll give more information in a post by post basis.

I've been stuck on this for a few days, I'm making progress (managed to add a few game yards to the seemless loading with no drop in FPS) but it's still taking awhile.

I'm just tightening up the scripts and I'm busy adding something that will fix it 100% (I'm adding a plugin made by a buddy that will show low res models at a distance) but it's still taking forever.

(I managed to afford it because they have an idiotic uprade system, you can buy basic for $100, then upgrade to advanced for only $100 (instead of paying a full $500 for the original price, and then you upgrade to pro for $200, so in reality, I only had to pay $400, but it did take along a few months since I had to wait for the different versions to ship).

I don't get much time to do anything else when I save up money for stuff, but I do get around $600 every two months if I work A LOT.

The screens I was trying to upload before were ALL full of placeholder textures and models.
I'm first creating the game, then implementing the right graphics later on.
