Nice one on Sin City and Number of the Beast, DD. Hallowed Be Thy Name is one of my favourite Maiden tracks ever, but I do think that Run to the Hills is a little bit overrated (still good though, but Maiden has done better, IMO).

Where is Fintroll from, Dvoe? I would say Finland (duh), but the title don't look Finnish, so that's why I'm asking. :tai:
Furthermore, it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed.

I agree with you Flop on Run to the Hills, and honestly how many times have they rereleased that track along with the trooper, I'm guessing 10023, maybe. Okay maybe not that high hehe.

Hopefully by the time next week comes around might pick up another Dream Theater disc thinking Octavarium although tempted to pick up Train of Thought.  :tai:

Really? I would've sworn that that title was in either Swedish or Norwegian. Ah well, goes to show what I know. :tai:

A most excellent pickup today for a killer price. 26 bucks I got both:

Iron Maiden-Powerslave and

Iron Maiden- Brave New World

Two killer cd's powerslave is definitely a great one with such classics as aces high, 2 minutes to midnight, powerslave and the incredible Rime of the ancient mariner 13 min track based on the poem, very wicked. :tai:

And Brave New World the album that brought back Bruce and Adrian back to the band after they had left earlier, classic album, The Wicker Man, The mercenary, Dream of Mirrors, Ghost of the navigator, The thin line between love and hate, Brave New World, Blood Brothers, what a lucky pickup today for 26 bucks. Since the cd's themselves are usally 18 bucks each.

I FINALLY got Tony Head's album - Music For Elevators.

A lovely album from start to finish.  Has a very interesting version of 'We Can Work It Out' by the Beatles.

DD, usually I'm not very eager to nominate one above others, but now I have to say:
Powerslave is the Best of Iron Maiden.
Rime of the Ancient Mariner is the Best of Iron Maiden.

I was yesterday wandering in music shop and found Powerslave, but it was about 22 euros, so I saved my money for now and I'm going back to buy it later. I had Powerslave long ago, but don't know where it ended up.
...70 years... LOL

I agree with ya that powerslave's is definitely one of their best albums, because hands down Rime of the Ancient Mariner is one of their best epic songs of all time, yeah I was surprised to find it for 15 bucks and to buy it with brave new world for 26 bucks total. Usually around here powerslave would be 18 and brave new world is 19, so nice pick up.

Best Maiden album, hmm unfortuantely man I'd have to disagree it's one of their tops no doubt but not their best, if you really like powerslave you should check out Piece of Mind or Caught Somewhere in Time, or even Brave New World which I feel is one of their best albums to date that's recent.

Awesome.:D I love Lillebjørn Nilsen. It's a shame you can't get his CDs over here. But luckily for me, a friend of mine (the one who gave me the CD, in fact) is going to emigrate to Norway in a year or so. One more reason to stay in touch with her.:bleh:

*Can't believe he forget to mention Seventh Son of a Seventh son and Fear of the Dark* Seriously Juni get all those if you want some great Maiden albums, Powerslave is awesome already but the ones I mentioned above and Seventh Son easily surpass it imo. :bleh:

My friend hooked me up with some Static X yesterday and uh interesting metal group, songs are shortish but is alright, nothing really that stands out so far from my listening.
