Helloween - Better than Raw Another album from these guys picked up awhile back, much more progressive sounding than their other two works before this and more heavier I would say so too, overall really stellar album.

Black Sabbath - The Dio Years Picked up this album recently, to support Dio Fronted Sabbath as they continue their awesome tour soon across the states and then onto Europe, anyways the album comprises songs from the Dio albums Heaven and Hell, The Mob Rules and Dehumanizer. Plenty to showcase with Heaven and Hell and The Mob Rules, including a live track from their live album live evil, lack of dehumanizer tracks though which was a bit of a shame but solid tracks (only issue had was they left off the classic Time Machine) also includes 3 new tracks recorded last year, The Devil Cried, Shadow in the Wind, and Ear in the Wall (My fav of the 3) solid pickings any fan of Sabbath or of metal definitely should pick this up.

Just bought and watched Goodbye Lenin!, which is a fantastic film, based around the re-unification of Germany after the Berlin Wall falls.
It's in German, but it has perfectly good subtitles (although it's a shame they can't be turned off, I'd have liked to practise my German a bit).
It won *checks* 4 awards in the European Film Festival and was nominated for a Bafta and a Golden Globe. So yeah, it's great.
And it's only six pounds at HMV if you live in the UK, or some amount around $10 or something in the US with all likelyhood.

Gamma Ray - Land of the Free Picked up this classic album that is an essential for anyone listening to power metal, fantastic all around album from one of the former helloween masterminds Kai Hansen, a great guitarist and vocalist, also came with 3 bonus tracks, as this is the 2003 remastered edition, next to pick up from these guys Somewhere Out in Space, Powerplant and No World Order.

Downward Spiral's pretty good - not so keen on Year Zero (what I've heard). If you like that, Further Down the Spiral is a very nice selection of remixes and extra bits and bobs.

Black Majesty - Silent Company Changing it up somewhat, this is Australian power metal and it sounds incredible, the band is quite heavier than other power metal bands and yet still can pull off some nice ballads in the mix, came out with their first album in 2002 or 2003 I believe, but really enjoyed this album, definitely going to pick up their other album.

Yea, its pretty good.
Was tempted to get the "deluxe" edition of Downward instead of Year Zero ($32 for deluxe edition) which has the originals along with all the remixes, but decided to just get the 2 instead of only one.

I've acquired my own copy of Spiderman 2 (Finally, that movie is still good!) and Final Fantasy: the Spirits Within (That movie is still weird!).
Music, I've been hanging around Gamingforce a lot lately, and you know what that means.
I love the exposure club; Pain of Salvation is really good.

I have been informed that today is, in fact, opposite day, and what you've written there is absolutely true so you should probably just go.

Adagio - Sanctus Ignis Changing it up some more with another new band, some french progressive metal, it can best be described as a european version of the band Symphony X, really superb work, will be getting more of their stuff in the near future.
