I was about to say, the newer one was really bad.
The book is like 10 pages long, I wonder how they made a feature length movie out of it.

Yeah the new one wasn't that great, been awhile since I've seen it thankfully, but yeah not so great memories.

Finally found on Thursday one CD had been waiting for ages, Rhapsody Of Fire- Triumph or Agony Think this is actually a really epic CD, and really although it's not a complete return to form for the band, it is a strong cd nevertheless, some cheesy narratives by some characters, but it does have Christopher Lee on one track, and he fits the role of narrating perfectly. :bleh:

Symphony X- The Divine Wings Of Tragedy Some would consider this album their best ever made, definitely after listening to it, it ranks high on my list, but would have to say their last album The Odyssey scores higher, nevertheless this is a sweet prog/power sort of album, and really great music all around, sort of neo-classical at times too.

Nevermore- S/T Picked this album up because recently Century Media, the label for the band, decided to remaster their first 3 albums, so now their self title debuted is available with 5 bonus tracks included. Just hearing how the band first started out is pretty cool, some great tracks on it and some really interesting bonus tracks, one real track and 4 demos, the demos sound really good, and it really shows their vocalist Warrel Dane almost sounding like Geoff Tate of Queensryche fame.

The wonderfully-titled "As The Cry Flows" by Seafood. I've not actually listened to it yet, but I liked When Do We Start Fighting? so this should be good too.

Symphony X- Twilight in Olympus Another Symphony X album picked up awhile back, this is the album that came after The Devine Wings Of Tragedy and it's okay. It's not quite to the peak of Divine Wings unfortunately, but it has some good tracks here and there, still an interesting album to check out, that leaves only The Damnation Game for me to find, which should not be too difficult.

Ever since some dope-head ran off with most of my video collection, I've pretty much decided not to bother. The last I ever bought was the first 6 episodes of "The Prisoner", and just before that, some 16 killer Bs from the 50's and 60's. Of these 14, I have (thanks to the dope-head) only 6 left: Mesa Of Lost Women, Batman the Movie, Barbarella and a tripple pack of Godzilla (60's). But maybe I'll get those other movies some day. They were far too good to be forgotten.
I met a goldfish who remembered meeting me before, but I had forgotten about that.

Edguy- The Savage Poetry Picked this up yesteday, it is a rerecorded version of their debut album, which was originally recorded when they were about 16-17 years old. What's interesting about this album though is that they have changed the arrangements in some of the songs and added new parts, to really make it sound like a whole new record.

Pain Of Salvation- 12:5 Although with the strange title that I believe would be related to a particular guessing signature that the band uses (That's the best I can come up with. :P) this is their live album but what's interesting about this is it's entirely done acousticly so no electric guitars, keyboards or anything, limited drums too. The kicker though is, that Daniel G the lead vocalist and guitarist, has also changed up the arrangements of the songs they performed so essentially in some cases your hearing a new version of the songs they have done, great album overall, would have prefered more vocal tracks, lot of instrumental breaks that occur but an amazing disc, and really it shows all the band at it's finest. :sneaky:
