Yep, gotta agree. I've had it for several years and it's one of the few that ends up playing every now and then, more often than once a month.

Big release this tuesday, with the release of the sequel to the vastly successful Operation MindCrime (Imo the best concept album to date by any band) with Operation Mindcrime II by Queensryche, already heard some tracks and it's going to be killer.

Ah ha finally something came today that been looking forward to for awhile.

John Petrucci- Suspended Animation The solo album debut from John Petrucci, and it doesn't disappoint. Lots of great tracks, from the heavyness of Jaws of Life, to the more progressive Glasgow Kiss, the album is chalk full of great instrumental guitar tracks, awesomeness to the extreme.

Queensryche - Operation: Mindcrime II (9.5/10) The best release so far this year. As a long time fan of this band its great to hear them in full flight again. This album will be held in very high regard a few years down the road, a great successor to the legendary Mindcrime name.

Bruce Dickinson - Skunkwords (Deluxe Edition) (6.5/10) I've owned this for years but finally picked up the remaster for the extra tracks on the 2nd bonus disc. Not a very impressive release overall but some essential tracks in the extras.

Kreator - Endless Pain (7/10) The debut album from these German thrash legends. Amateur songwriting but great rif*twiggy*e, this is exactly the kind of music I need right now.

Kreator - Pleasure to Kill (8/10) Thier 2nd album and by far their most intense and brutal. In fact its so brutal that its often hard to listen to even for a seasoned metal fan. If you ever want to truly frighten someone play this cd for them.

Kreator - Terrible Certainty (9.5/10) Their 3rd album and the start of their pinnacle. Absolutely essential thrash, in the top 5 thrash metal records ever in the company of Slayer and Metallica.

Well thats my haul, I'm looking at expanding my classic rock and classical composition collection over the next few months. Live and die for music.

Queensryche- Operation Mindcrime II Picked up the highly anticipated sequel to 1988's Operation Mindcrime, a wow just finished listening to it, definitely a return for Queensryche with a strong presence, only one iffy song on the album but everything else is incredible, a worthy sequel to MC.

I got some awesome flicks for good prices.

One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Special Collector's Edition: This thing has an awesome case, and it has great special features for a twenty year old film, it was worth more than the price too.

Jacob's Ladder Special Edition: Weird, you'd think the producers would want someone to buy this DVD, there are deleted scenes, a making-of documentary, and trailers and spots, yet on the back of the case it only says "Theatrical Trailers". Anyways, great movie, and pretty freaky too.

There's only a few titles would like to get my hands on, number one on the list is Iced Earth's Alive in Athens 3 CD album (All the stores here sell only the 2 disc set) many consider this to be one of the best live albums in the metal genre, and would also like to get hands on Broken Sword 1 and 2.

Pantera-Cowboys From Hell- Highly regarded as the best record Pantera did in their career, certainly is very well done, some really interesting tracks, and sweet guitaring and great vocals too, Phil the lead singer does some Matt Barlow like screams which is freakin cool, great all around album.

A Perfect Circle- Thirteenth Step Was somewhat interested in checking out this band, as heard a couple tracks from them, so the album was 12 bucks I thought why not, got a good recommendation that this is the album to check out from a friend so did so. Had no expecatations but turned out to be a real good listen and liking the material, kind of an atmospheric sort of listen with some of the music, sort of relaxing actually, not bad. :P

Thirteenth Step is a heck of a grower, DD: I was slightly disappointed by it at first listen (especially The Nurse Who Loved Me) after loving Mer de Noms, but now I much prefer it (especially the beatiful Hollywierd magic of The Nurse Who Loved Me ). If you get into them, the rEMIXES album (which comes with the aMOTION DVD) is bloomin' marvellous, as are the videos LOL
