Could you really? Oh, please please! It looks verry nice! Although I'm not sure if it fits with the moogle theme, I'm sure it will be usefull some other time!

Also, could you perhaps show how to do the text where it rather blends in? (or is it the same as the tutorial you (or Tai?) posted?) I ran out of text tricks ><

That text in the sig is the first time I've ever done that sort of thing. I could try and write a tutorial on it. The background is the same method as in the tutorial but I can send you that 'SpoonSkull' brushpack and if need be do a more structured tutorial with more screens in order to help you understand how to brush in that way..

Not happy with it... I was given one image and asked to make something from it. Didn't know what to do that came out. I just don't like it much. You?

Hmm, nice, but I don't think it's one of your best pictures, to be honest.
Maybe it's that black border. It makes the picture look very static and even a little boring, perhaps. It basically just looks like a framed photograph, but there. A light layer of colour in one part of the picture (or even a single coloured element like, say, a lit cigarette) might spice it up a bit as well and make it a little more dynamic...

Yeh, I agree with what you've said Raffles. I couldn't place it before but you're right. It does look 'static'. Lifeless. There isn't anything prominant that draws focus which is probably why the image looks 'boring' everything goes together as one a little too well. I'll talk to the guy who requested it about adding something to spruce it up.

...him. Thats an older image but I think it works a lot better than the newest piece of work. The way that the brush work blends into the image of the soldiers in the newest work results in a lack of emphasis on any part of the image. Whereby in the older piece the guy on the right as well as the two soldiers both draw focus away from the underlaying brushwork.

Have you tried what the original picture would look like if you put a lit cigarette (coloured, I mean) in the mouth of the guy on the far left? Or maybe a very thin layer of green to part of the undergrowth...

The second picture isn't as boring as the first one, but it looks a little like a Marlboro ad.
