Transcendence!?

I dunno, I thought Sci-Fi and then mysticism, even though Transcendence doesn't have any mysticism in it, um, yeah, I thought the title sounded kinda "mystic".

Whatever that is.

I lost my train of thought.

yeah. it's transcendence.

it has this mother-god of the universe thing going. it's not a big part of gameplay (although you can get some small boni out of it too), but supposedly it's what motivates you to seek the galactic core.

you are an Indiana Jones ripoff with a soft spot for a certain kind of computers.

hint#2: the game allows you to get all sort of accessories for your computer:
form translation software to waterproof casing.

hint #3: from the name you could think this is a Spanish version of a Disney cartoon.

hint #4: ...however as far as I can tell the game is originally Japanese.

hint# 5: it's a platformer game (at least that's what I thik they are called... you know, like Prince of Peria or Metroid)

Ok, I grab it then:

If computers and freeware games were at today's level back in 1977 this game would had been HUGE success.

Nope. Small misunderstanding can easily happen, this game is from this 21st century. ;) Point being, if it was released back then (and there were computers good enough for 3D graphics (another hint)) it would had been huge success.

This is just a hunch.  Is it a Star Wars game?   ;)

I guess Star Wars Battle Of Yavin.

On a side note  technically Battle of Yavin can trace its origins from Star Wars the arcade game, http://en.wikipedia....s_(arcade_game)

It was not a third person like Yavin but it had many of the similar concepts like fighting ties in space, the battle on the surface, and the trench run, it was actually somewhat big in the arcades because of some of the innovation it brought for the time. ;)
