It's the terrible Butterfly Effect, a terrible movie based on a terrible book.

@Chumfoolah: I once had someone honestly and completely sincerely tell me that he thought Girl Interrupted was a far superior movie to the one I had just shown him.

I made him watch One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, and yes, he is a retarded moron.

I didn't read the book, and I liked the movie enough to sit through it and not think that that time could have been better spent reading some book afterwards (like most people on the Internet).

I mean, i's a movie about changing time, for Mistra's sake! you have to expect some cheese. :D

if this isn't clear, this is a "yes". go piggggggggggggggg.

edit: also, pigg, care to enlighten me which book the movie is based on?

I was certain I read a book with almost the same exact plot that was extremely similar to the film. I can't remember the name, but I thought it was written by Michael Crichton.

In this film a rat is sent into a criminal empire, while another rat is sent into the police force, the two rats start to become uncomfortable with their positions.

in this movie a nurse meets a retired CIA agent, hilarity ensues.

P.S. I think the only time-travel story Crighton has is the "Timeline", which is also made into a medicorce movie, but has nothing at all in common with BE. Wikipedia page says it's reminiscent of Slaughterhouse #5 by Vonegut, but it's not. not much anyway.

no, the wiki page on BE says it's like slaughterhouse 5.
the page on Timeline says a lot of things, about how it's another in Crightons fine tradition, but makes no extraauthorious comparisons.

Just watched this and I've decided to go for the angle that a nurse need not be a lady...
Is it Meet the Parents?

Damn, man.
That was really misleading!  :D

A guy struggles against fate to get across the country and home in time for thanksgiving, helped (and hindered!) by an annoying fat guy.
With hilarious consequences.

Would those forms of transport include Planes, Trains, and Automobiles, by any chance?
Today is a good day for pie.
