In this movie some dude has to conquer his fears and deliver it upon others dude. He wears funny clothes and gets afraid when he gets dust thrown into his face at one point.

Yeah, I'm masking stuff with funny words.
Hmm, Harry Potter wears funny clothes.  Not knowing the Harry Potter stories very well, I'm guessing that it's possible that the magic scares him - particullarly dark magic.  In Order Of The Phoenix, he has to teach some people how to defend themselves against the dark arts.  That could be considered 'delivering his fear upon others' I guess.

Anyway, I'm guessing Harry Potter And Order Of The Phoenix.   :roflol:

No, not Harry Poopy Potter, and it's not a fear of dust, probably because the subject of the dust was not related to the subject of the fear which is why English works the way it does.

"the wizard of oz"! (no, wait, that makes no sence whatsoever...)

knowing your love for series, could it be "The Scarecrow Walks at Midnight"? it has a scarecrow, who "delivers fear" to some "dudes", I have no Idea if it has dust.

finaly "Golden Compass", it has Dust.

I got it from the dust thing. I also remembered a guy named Dr. Scarecrow in that movie or something after playing the game for DS.

It's based on a VERY famous novel. The name may be misleading since the maker couldn't get the license for the name, though it is called by the original name in America.

It's a silent film.

Silent film as in it was made during a time when talkies weren't really common yet, or silent film as in experimental and artsy?
And what is it about, anyway?

It's Nosferatu, actually, I don't know, since you said original name and I've only seen really bad versions of it (almost all the prints were destroyed but it was put back together with some stray copies) where Count Orlok's name was changed to Dracula.

This sounds exactly like the film, but it might not be it since it's a pretty vague clue.
