In that case I'm really sorry - actually I specifically chose it because I thought it would be a well-known film and easy to guess.:(

I suppose I should have gone for "a young man has a piece of jewellery forced upon him and goes to astonishing lengths in order to get rid of it" instead.:roflol:

Hey, don't worry about it.  It's always fun to try and guess the films anyway.   :(

even I haven't seen it. (I have heard of it before though).

Our next movie features a mildly crazy person, who believes one of the 3 main chracters to be his daughter.

It's well known by people who enjoy cinema but even they haven't really seen it or know much of the details really, I've heard the name and seen clips.

sure.
A man goes to visit his threapist, discovers he has a daughter, then discovers that one of the characters isn't who he (the man) thought he(or she) was, and then... uh... he dsicovers why.

So what you're saying is that the person the man mistakes for his daughter is actually a man?

several people are not who they appear to be.
including his friend, who is (metaphoricaly in this case) not who he appears, because he's no friend at all.
