Whittle the number of dwarves down to just one or two. Nobody can actually remember all their names anway, so it won't make a huge difference, but it'll save an awful lot of money.

This will give them a chance to make dwarves that aren't total *twiggy*s, because we knew they were all *twiggy*s in the other LOTR films thanks to them making Gimli a total turd bag who couldn't do anything even if it included crayons and a piece of paper that said "MAKE A MARK ON THIS *meep*ING PAPER".

I could sure do that, but not even he could, because obviously dwarves are bumbling morons who eat gravy and say funny little quips that are totally homo erotic (supposedly, according to advisers on the council of councils inbetween the North and South).
