Hmm no surprisingly they haven't I was uh going to get to them honest. 
Definitely did make DOTT a great game by playing as 3 different characters, of the 3 hmm going to have to go with Hoagie as my personal fav.

I'm going for Hoagie, too.
Bernard had his own kind of coolness, although I'd rather think of him as funny than cool.
And Laverne was always just annoying in my eyes. I hated her.

Indeed that's what I thought about Bernard and Laverne, Hoagie just seemed a better all around character and him during the american revolution times, was classic, especially the conversations with him and Ben Franklin.

They were fairly different from the norm of heroes in games when DOTT was released so that's also why they are cool and unique in their own right.
