Kyle was cool, but his acting was bad.

Indeed the FMV's were decent at best, nothing special, nothing as bad as the ones with Jerek.

True enough but Kyle also tangled in both the light and dark side of the force and still was able to control that, pretty different.

I remember the opening part of Jedi Knight, Dark Forces II.

Coolest Video Game Character.....got to be Fuge from Silver.

Who else but Fuge, he had two huge swords, white hair, cool evil voice, ruthless and just exudes coolness. Sure David kills him, but David is fairly wimpy, Silver, more evil, but old and weak henceforth uncool.

Nemesis in Silver also looks awesome with the armour and sword, looking like a Black Knight.

Hmm speaking of Black Knights, ive decided to change my vote, it has to be Horny from Dungeon Keeper, come on I mean, first of all the name, then the giant scyth, lava boots. And those FMV sequences in dungeon keeper 2, absolutely hilarious.

Torque (The Suffering),
Daniel Garner (Painkiller),
Max Payne (forgot the games name... ...not),
Kurt Robinson (Vivisector - Beast Within).
ALL in 1st place.

These are truly great characters - very cool indeed.

Guess I've grown too old or something, but to be honest, me and all of my friends would had been crazy for Mona Sax. She just has so much atavistic feminine sex appeal. Her appearance, personality, voice, addiction to guns... Screw Lara Croft, she's only empty doll, though damn good looking.

Mona is attractive for the sex scenes she was involved in MP2.
Other than that - I hated playing with a different character in Max Payne 2 for a while.

Edit: Oh, just realized that Mona Sax can't be The Coolest, 'cause she's so hot! Then I have to say Max Payne!

I'm moving aside with Cool Villians now. Have to say the cliche ones like Bowser, Ganon, but some like Domino from Grim Fandango is a personal fav, especially the voice work again, perfect just perfect.

I never really cared so much for Bowser, he just seemed to "sterotypical" I dunno...

But, bolth Kefka and (hahahahah, gonna get all rare on you) the "teacher" in the battle royale game are good.

Bowser isn't "stereotypical" all his copy-cats are, back in the 80's he was this really cool villain nobody had dreamt up before.
Now the big silly baddy is everywhere.

My favorite "cool" villain would have to be Dr. Killjoy from The Suffering, that guy was just... screwed up.

Either that or the Cyborg from Metal Gear Solid, I loved that Jamaican voice-over! LAWLS!
