Indeed they sure have become that. Well I don't doubt their ability to pull off a great game, they have the people and backing to do so.

Speaking of Episodic gaming, is there another episode of SiN being released any time soon?
Emergence was released to average reviews, but I quite liked it, I don't think they could have been turned off enough to cancel the next episode, but I haven't heard anything for awhile

I've got the name of the game the makers of Max Payne are making, or the name of the main character: It's Allan Wayke. The story is that he goes to some town to relax because he is suffering from insomania(or some other sleeping disorder.). Dreams are important for him because he based his first book on a dream he had. The dreams return but as nightmares, and soon the nightmares become reality. The game features episodic gaming.

They're also working on Max Payne 3.
And yeah, I've heard about Alan Wake, it looks pretty good, it's an adventure type game as well, which is cool, not getting too many adventure games these days, and if one is released, it's usually bad or dissapointing (Syberia 2)

Yeah both games look promising, the adventure one hopefully does good, but how about the sequel to The Longest Journey, that looks like an adventure game that managed to be a good sequel so I've heard..

Not really. Pointing out an adventure game that came out recently that has gotten some props.
Think depending on how some of these games do, may encourage other developers too to take the plunge with episodes, if the market is viable enough, then may start seeing more and more.

Well not a ton that has been recently anyways, although the Adventure Company puts out the odd really superb one every now and then.

If you ever get the chance to play the original Dark Fall, you should try it, it's one of the best Adventure games released in the past few years, and it's incredibly scary to boot.
