Alien 3 certainly had an interesting concept and situation for the characters. I think unfortunately they alienated (hoho) a large part of the audience by casting aside two characters they'd grown to care about a great deal in a couple of throwaway title sequence shots.

Neeeh, Alien 3 was considered the worst in series by critics. Ressurection was considered fine because number 4 in the serial is very risky number, and movie was quite well despite that.

No, Ressurection is MUCH more hated by fans than Alien 3, fans see Alien 3 as a good sequel to the series, and worthy of being in the Alien universe, but most people refuse to accept that Ressurection is part of the series at all.
It IS considered the worst by fans and critics as well (Alien 3's ratings were 50/50, Ressurection was massacred).

I don't know where you got that from, but I guess Internet is a wide place and anything can be found, both for your and for mine claims.
I also think that Alien 3 could have been better if that little girl and marine survived the crash. You need to be a special case of sucker to survive alien infestation, hive, queen, slaughtering of colonists, slaughtering of marines, being kidnaped to a hive, attacked by a facehugger, escape from huge nuclear explosion- and then get killed in a crash while sleeping at the beginning of the third movie.
Ressurection was fun , but it went on my nerves that the whole serial takes place in around 300 years. After Nostromo the ship was blown up, Ripley is in space for couple of decades, and when she dies in Alien 3 she gets cloned in Alien 4 few decades after etc etc.
Oh yeah, Alien Ressurection for PS1 was fine, altough it had many flaws. As for AvP, that game could have been much better if you didn't have to use special googles/senses all the time.

3. Silent Hill 2 Playstation 2 - While its gameplay was considered only "good" by most, this game left such a lasting impression on most gamers, that it's now considered one of the most unforgettable and memorable gaming experiences ever. While its story played upon the themes of marital woes, it delivered a shocking look into the life of a man who was far more troubled than initial impressions could ever have perceived.

Normally I wouldn't reply to this, but MI3 art is heavily inspired by the art of my personal favorite artist and Bill Tillers favorite artist Edward Gorey. Look him up. And... How DARE you!

I find that Alice gets too much credit.
Yeah, it's pretty, yeah it has awesome art design, some unique characters, and interested locales, but really, it is SO boring, I didn't even finish it because the last few levels were so poorly designed and repetitive.
As a piece of art, it's fine, but as a game, it barely passes.

I completely agree, the gameplay does suck in it. But I just love the characters and levels so much. I actually had a hard choice choosing between Call of Cthulhu, Alice, and Undying for third favorite. I think I decided Alice because I'm on an Alice hype streak at the moment.

1 Planescape Torment (PC, RPG)
2,3 Fallouts (both PC, both RPG). hard to say which one was better, but probably 2nd would be a little ahead.
4. Wings of fury (PC I guess, arcade)
5. OFP (PC, solider simulator) no, it's not an FPS. that is the whole fun part of it! I spent hours at a time just having random battles in the editor (both with and without me).
