Mmm the UNATCO main track (when you're there to get briefed) is ace.

There are many good game music here. But there is one that has not been named here which is the game red alert. I found the tune "Hell March" quite catchy. (I think it is called "hell march")

Ahhhh.....16- bit.

Who would forget the music of original "Starfox", or "Starwing" as it was known in Europe.

One of the many dumb names companies came up with during the 16-Bit Era. :P

The Spirit Engine (which is freeware!) has probably the best soundtracks I've ever heard in a game. It's actually kinda ironic that it beats every single other commercial game's music, too, imo. (and it's freeware!)

Back in the day I was a big fan of the first Tony Hawk Pro Skater's music, well because it was one of the first to have licensed music. :P

The game with the best liscened music is probably any of the Grand Theft Auto modern games.

Vice City probably wins out the others.

For sure, haven't heard San Andreas one, but definitely Vice City is tops, for having 2 minutes to midnight, peace sells. :P

I really liked the first GTA's radio music, that was much better than the licensed stuff they use now :P

Indeed GTA 1 and 2 had some great funny radio stations and the music they used was pretty good. GTA 3 had it's moments with some of them, KChat prob one of my favourite stations.

Oh man, you can't forget about the Zelda series when it comes to soundtracks, just so memorable and amazing (my favorite is the Wind Waker soundtrack).
You can hear the WW soundtrack here, and surf the site for the other soundtracks, they just sound great.
