Eh, the download is smaller due to 7zip? I thought i am looking at the wrong page, because previous versions as well as here in review it says over 1MB... So i thought it was something wrong when i saw the 640kb. Maybe filesize should get fixed in the review...

Ok thanks. will try it at home. work computers are not friendly with games.

i couldn't get it to run. not enough conventional memmory. this game is for windows, and i dont' think anymore conventioanl memmory could be freed in WIN98. it's easy in DOS, but win take up some memmorry for their own processes i believe.

I even tried the alternative go, but it doesnt' work either. same message appears. then again the game says in it's manulas that it may or may not work in Win 98/95. strange. too bad...

anyone maybe solved this rpoblem? let me know...

Orbiter seems somewhat similar. maybe if i have time i will try it.

Ok, I have been tried this game but didn't have much time playing it. But I was browsing my computer and saw I still had it so I tried it out again. This time I got a hang of it and now I am having a lot of fun playing it. But I found a planet with life on it (some birds) and wanted to take a picture. I know that you must use this (*) to take picture so I clicked it. And the games stops for moment (like 1/12 of second) as if taking a screenshot in any game. Ok I check the noctis folder and the gallery folder but the only picture there is a Sample picture. Can anybody tell me whats wrong?

Can't get this one to run at all - I just get a black screen. I really want to play it too.

Sounds like could be an issue with your video card if that happening, not sure though if there any particular requirements with it.

Hmm... it seems that it's DOS only, though on the info screen it says Windows or DOS. I presume everyone here is running it in DOS then?

Nope, works fine on my 2k, freeware games built from scratch using their own engines developed by the creator himself are usually quite iffy, it's hard to make code that works well with every type of system.

hey everyone!   just got it and it isn't working!!    its telling me its cant run dos and windows programs or whatever........... i tried dosbox but that doesnt work!! hm..... does this game work on windows 2000? Any help would be greatly appreciated   thank you

First off, it would help if you could accuratly describe the problem, and the error you get

Now I'm not sure about vanilla, but you could download NICE (page 2 for recent releases), a mod that greatly expands the game.
Then, if the regular startup doesn't work, you could try entering your Noctis directory, and running DWNoctis
