I contacted him about a game on Abandonia and he said "I'm not really in touch with Abandonia anymore" which probably means he doesn't have that much access to the site's content.

The point being what exactly? An admin doesn't have to be around all the time to do his job, nor does he have to be continually posting to remind people of his presence.

By the way, I think that "bug" at AB ought to be fixed as quickly as possible before it does any harm.
