Hey Dudes,

Anybody know of a few good Slasher horror movies?

I've seen quite a few horror films as of late not all of which where horror:

Saw
Saw II
Dawn Of The Dead
Cabin Fever
Van Helsling (Not horror, I thought it was)  :P
28 Days Later
The Skeleton Key

More, that I can't recall right now.

So, good Slashers... or just general horrors?

Anybody seen The Descent, that's a recent one I've seen. T'was pretty funny OMG

Did anybody else think 28DaysLater was a tad bit slow?

Land of the dead (haven't seen it, but supposed to be good)
The Reanimator (...not too horrory, made me laugh...in a bad way but..."The bone saw please!"
Evil Dead Series (1 is more horrorish)
There was a french slasher flick that was supposed to be good but I forget what it was called...

Hostel was just F'd up. It's what's his face (Mr KillBill) seeing how far he can bush the boundaries of the film industry.

Example:

Woman, whose eye has been removed with a pair of ... sharp metal thingies (on screen) decides to throw herself in front of a very fast train.

Splat.

Whatever, it's still an excessively gorey badly written but enjoyable film.

To be honest, what'd you expect :).
Its about a hostel in Europe that lets you tortune people for money, certainly ain't about to have academy winning writing or acting xD
^^

And the french one I was talking about is High Tension.
Hmmm, reviews changed since I last looked.

Man dude, van Hellsing sure sucked. When they show the part with the spirits, one of my friends said that some guy in the theatre literally got up and shouted "Simbaaaa".

And from what I hear 28dayslater was indeed slow but. To be honest (again xD0 I'd rather have a good slower zombie movie than yet another fast paced "OMFG A ZOMBIE SHOOT IT!" movie. (yes, I'm looking at you DOOM)

Violent Sh*t is gorey, but it's also the most HORRIBLE MOVIE EVER.

You're off better watching Dead Alive/Braindead.
