I've played this game for years and still love it 
Though, I realized that you posted the old DOS version up, using a strange url for the homepage.
If you want the Windows version, which also include Chex Quest 2 and 3, then the link should be http://www.chucktrop....com/gamers.htm
Also, there is a large mod database at chexquest.org
