Well, I think it's strange moving around with the different sound FX... The jumping sound, the coin sound... aso...

Yeah those sounds were a bit different to hear for the first time, still is a faithful mario game that keeps getting updated with new features, so it's a grower.

Well maybe two things possibly, option 1 they are worried about the licensing and copyrights of the sound effects and would rather not risk such a thing, or option B it's not really Mario Mario that we know, hence the Maryo, so maybe this is their version of the new Maryo.

I liked the twist on the sound effects personally. Although I never played the original so I'm not quite sure what the original was like, so I am not able to compare the two. I can see how you may not like how it's changed, but I have no complaints over its quality.

Well for me at least, it didn't factor into overall quality and such. More of an annoyance than anything, but still doesn't take away from the game I believe.
