The news pic, but then again, that's just me. I have a tendency not to like 3d freeware games(the newspic looks a little 3d)

Well don't worry about this game, it's definitely a very high quality recently developed adventure game that will keep you entertained.

Well, it kept me entertained for what, 5 or 10 minutes? What the hell am I supposed to do with that stone table on that cliff? Nothing fits in it and it doesn't do anything if I try to press the symbols in any possible order that you can find from the another stone table...

There's still a bit of steps you need to go through before you'll be able to use it properly.

Use Accessory on Power Module
Look at Sign, remember the markings and their order
Exit hole
Go back to the Stone Tablet
Use Stone Tablet, and insert the complete Power Module
Enter the markings in the right order, then close it
Go to path, then to Backyard

Do I need to have any knowledge of the show to enjoy this game, or does it just add to the enjoyment factor?

Nope you don't need to have any knowledge from the series. If ya have seen the tv show though it just adds to the game, being able to recognize certain elements.

It really is a great game, one of the few independent Freeware titles (not based on an actual comertial game - like freeware King's Quest) which really does try to capture the spirit and quality of the real 2D adventures.

I guess it's because Sektor 13 (a.k.a. Klemen Žagar, yeah, I gotta say it, my countryman) was really influenced by LucasArts (mostly The Dig - you can just tell if you play both games).

If anyone's interested I interviewed him (but the interview is posted on some other freeware site, so I'm not sure about linking to it). You might enjoy reading it.

Have a big problem...Tried to solve it more than once or twice...I cannot run the game When I start it, the intro begins...The label (of the developer) disappears, than a movie should start, but I can only hear the sound of it...Nothing to be seen on the screen except darkness. I've tried every possible setting in the setup to run it in different modes...It's still the same...I cannot see anything...I don't know what comes after the intro...Maybe the main menu of the game? I don't know. I can't see it. :-/ Has someone encountered the same problem as mine and has he solved it?

in winsetup.exe, have you tried picking "run in window instead of fullscreen"?
oh yes and don't forget to click "save"

i have other problem, all my animations are upside down
