The patch does not work for me.  It brings up an error that says acsetup.cfg is an unknown version.  I got both the game and the patch from this page.  What am I missing here?

Nevermind, got it now.

Hello everyone LOL I want to announce that I'm planning to release the tech demo of Lost In The Nightmare: Unforgettable Memories this week (on Friday, if I manage to finish it). Now I just need a proof-reader; as my English isn't perfect, and one of the negative points of LitN 1 was the weak English (I didn't work with proof-readers for the first game of the serie.). I would really glad if someone could help me with this :P

By the way, I want to thank everyone who commented about LitN, you really motivated me for the sequel.
How is the demo coming along?   :)

People, excuse me for the latency LOL I was seriously sick for a few days, couldn't work on the game. But now I'm recovering, I will continue to my workings today.
Also I have decided to add some more stuff to the tech demo in order to increase the gameplay time; the demo will be released when it gets into something really faultless. LITN 1 thought me that it is not so benefical to release things in a hurry.
Well, thanks for your concern

Is it just me or does this game seem to be made by the old half life engine because the graphics look like old HL ones. Even one character resembles the face of a scientist from HL.

I'll dl it and post after i beat it  :P

EDIT: this guy looks like gordon freeman  :P

Oh yeah, it was made using engine of Half-Life. The author didn't hide that fact.
Why should he? I mean, Half-Life has decent graphics even for today's standards.
One can always get mocked for being polite.

Hello,
Yes, I have used HL engine as said before. And Burak Güney, the main character was supposed to look like me a bit, and I look like Gordon Freeman    :P
Anyway; the demo of LitN 2 is completed and on net.

Because of the big file size, I had to split it into two parts. Extract both parts in the same folder. I will announce the release of the demo offically after finding a better host then RapidShare. (I will send a PM to Kosta now; also I would accept any hosting offers gladly made by you).
Enjoy :P

Just had the chance to try out the Demo. I think you have really created something interesting with the design. Using real people and places. The music is awesome.

It's definately looking promising :P

Just played the demo, and WOW!!! I love it.    :P

It's interesting that you used real people - very effective.
The music is amazing.

It has the same 'creepy, sinistar'  feeling as the last game.

Brilliant Gord    :P
