It is time to enter the world of Odysseus Kent, as you explore the challenges and characters in The Trials of Odysseus Kent. The actual game as you proceed forth is very nicely done, as we see nice witty dialogue like always like most of Yahtzee's games, as well as a very engaging and interesting story. That really has a nice atmosphere as you journey forth to the different areas you see in the game. All this combines to make a really great game effort in the end.
In the game you play the role of Odysseus Kent, you have traveled forth to this small town to search for the Lost Treasure of Randolph McBoing, where he manages to find the location of the treasure. But before he can even start digging away, the local parish priest stops him. Apparently the plot of land, has been bought about by the Cretin family to bury their father who is slowly dying, so Odysseus needs to find a way to gain access to this plot to get his treasure, and that's where you begin.
The game's story itself is very nicely done and the way it follows through as you proceed from event to event is done nicely, near the end it does get a bit rushed but that's not a big deal, it still conveys a good mood as you play through. The puzzles you encounter in the game as well are of a nice difficulty, most will really make you think, some of them are let's just say somewhat shocking when you discover them and such, but I'll let you find out what they are like.
The graphics in the game are really only average I would say, they do show off a nice interesting world, but it's mostly dark, but that helps with the overall atmosphere of the game so it all links together in a sense. So if your looking for a funny adventure game to amuse you for a bit, try The Trials of Odysseus Kent and see what you encounter in this fun game.
