Lots of levels Reasonable graphics No character customization
HeroQuest is a turn-based Action/Roleplaying game. Originally a boardgame by the company Milton Bradley, HeroQuest was later made into a DOS game.
The storyline is a basic RPG cliche; you and three other players (or just you playing as all four) are four heroes who have just finished your training and now are sent out into the world to help people. There are literally hundreds of "quests" to complete which makes for a long playtime. HeroQuest also comes with a level editor which allows you to make your own quests and campaigns. You can put these onto Gerwin Broers' website so that others may fight in your custom-built dungeon. The graphics have been changed a little bit from the original graphics of the DOS version. The blurry Isometric bitmap-ish sprites of the DOS version have been replaced with a much clearer, sleeker, top-down 2D style. High end louboutin schuhe for sale.
HeroQuest features great graphics and replayability. Unfortunately, the lack of customizability in your characters (as was the case in the original boardgame) was a big letdown for me. You do not name your characters, nor do you choose their character classes or race; it is all preset.
HeroQuest comes with an extensive game manual and a tutorial to match. I give HeroQuest:
