Challenge highscore online
Some lag when many enemies
If your like me and remember the old classic shoot em up game Contra, which really stands as a classic from the Nes era of games. Well now, you can experience that old feeling again with Contra World Challenge II a remake of the old contra game, but this time around it is different. Rather than a complete remake of the game, the developers decided on a different approach. This time around you, try to get the best possible high score through two levels from the classic game. Then when you finish you can post your results, compare with the other contra gamers, and see how you rank. Will you emerge on top?
Their really isn't much of a story line to speak of before than there was in the first place, really it's just action a plenty as you take down anyone and anything that gets in your way. As you shoot your way across the jungle and second off against the bad forces in the ice base. The conversation of the game has not lost a beat, the graphics are still the same and although they aren't impressive by today's standard, they still are good enough to get you through the game. The main point of the game is to proceed as fast as you can, while losing as few lives as possible to get that coveted high score and prove your worth against the other gamers.
The game itself is a small download and once you get it on your system it's a simple matter of opening it up, redefining your keys and difficulty if you would like and then just start blasting the enemy away. If you really want to get a high score though, make sure to challenge the game at the hard difficulty. However, you may want to give it a few rounds at normal setting until you get used to the game, if it has been awhile since you have played Contra.
The game is short no question about it, only 2 levels long and you will finish this game in one sitting no question about it, thanks also in part to the infinite continues so it shouldn't be hard to finish. Nevertheless, it is understandable considering the main point of the game is to get the highest score possible.
If your looking for a quick game to sit down and start playing, this is the one, challenge others, and try to get that high score to brag about.
