Street Bike Fury Reviewed by: DeathDude Positive Points: Lots of action Pretty good effect and graphics Negative Points: High challenge Only one music track Genre: Arcade Size: 12.6 MB Requirements: Windows Questionable Content: 15+ Violence, blood, swearing, Editor rating: 4.2 Homepage: http://www.shawn64.com/ Download location: http://s64games.com/sbf.php Sometimes you just want to play a game where you can just jump right into the action, no looking at the instructions for 5 minutes, no strategizing like some sort of general who thinks they are an RTS whiz. No just simple action, and Street Bike Fury fulfills the goal nicely. Motor cycle combat, that's right using your motor cycle to blast, crash and drive your way through the city as you escape your enemies to get as far as you can away from them, sounds simple enough right? Maybe at first, but as you know the farther you go the tougher it gets, that is why you have to stay alert at all time and remember happy shooting. A game of this nature cannot be without a typical cliché short story line, well okay not so much cliché in the way of the story but any ways back to the point at hand. Seems our hero Nitro was supposed to bring some questionable money to this boss. Turns out he doesn't have it, so after the boss orders to attack Nitro, he escapes on his motor cycle gun in hand and drives away, that begins our journey. The game excels in what it is accomplishing, action a plenty. There is always something in your way or coming at you that you will have to deal with, other bikers, copters, exploding barrels, civilians standing minding their own business and so on. Depending on how you react to them or by the different methods you use to perhaps shoot a biker or maybe find a new path, you'll get points, these points all add up at the end. The game uses a sort of exploding score similar to Grand Theft Auto 2 to display your scores that you are racking up as you progress through the game. It may be a bit distracting but you may not even notice it if you are engrossed in the game. Controls in game are pretty simplistic and before you start the game, a nice menu shows you the controls you need to know before you start handy and not too shabby. Should not be that much of a cause of concern for the most part. Finally graphically the game looks pretty good overall and the effects from explosions to things such as exploding signs and other things look well done as it happens, so good on that front too. The game only has one music track, or at least that is as long as I have to hear and essentially, it is a real track! That's right a real musical track with lyrics, fits the game very excellently I thought. Keeping in mind though, if you have to keep replaying from the beginning it then may start to get irritating. As well the challenge for this game is fairly high, with all the action going on screen, it'll take you maybe a couple of tries before you get the hang of the game. Before you can really start to rack up some high scores and get far. Also, if you like you can submit your high score online to see how others have done compared to yours, cool. This was an enjoyable title that I had fun playing that really is just sit down and have some fun and sometimes when you want to play some games, that's the only way you want to go. So give Street Bike Fury a shot and see for yourself.
