It would seem there is danger in the land. In a world full of mystery and magic, there is danger in the land; a powerful wizard by the name of Zarkyran is threatening the peace and stability of the land, through his collection of the amulets. Powerful little trinkets that control the elements, such as water, fire and so on. Now enter the shoes of an unlikely heroine, who must brave a land she’s not too familiar with and learn about the secrets of the amulets and defeat Zarkyran in 5 Magical Amulets.

The story of this title begins with a nice introduction about our heroine Linda and how she was adopted by the wizardess Twelga. Now that Linda has turned 18 years old, she can now be told the important information that Twelga has been waiting to tell her, mainly about magic. As well the danger of Zarkyran, an evil wizard who has been corrupted by the amulet of fire, and in true adventure fashion, he’s not content with just the land he possesses, oh no he needs more and he wants to gather more amulets to spread his grip across the land! So Twelga asks Linda, because of her weakening power, to go find her son and to bring the amulet of Earth that she gives to Linda to him and maybe he can help against Zarkyran.

Starting off, presentation wise the game is done in a very nice style. Everything from the graphics, to the menus, is done with such care to detail and to ensure for an easy playing experience, props to the developers for pulling this off and making it all flow together nicely. The game features some great music that really fits in with the overall mood of the game and the story, it also changes accordingly during certain scenes and I have yet to find an out of place tune, as each tune was enjoyable to listen to during the course of the game. The graphics for the game are done in a different style compared to other freeware adventure titles, unique for sure and it really gives that look that your reading a sort of fairy tale as the game commences forward. The characters as well each are unique and have their own unique personalities that are interesting to watch and see the reactions they show to Linda.


Really can not think of any serious concerns with the game, as really everything is done seamlessly and without much trouble, this is definitely an adventure title that if you’re a fan of the genre, you got to check it out. Highly recommended, 5 magical amulets is the name, remember it and go download it.
