Any news on your game Tai?
You could always tell us the game is finished, and will be up on AR tomorrow.

I'm guessing she's busy as she always is

Is she actually going ahead and making it then?

I've had sooooooo many game ideas that would be sooooooo great, but I have only one big problem: no idea of how to code it. Some people claim it too simple to learn, but you can all call me stupid. However, my point here is, that I'm usually quite creative and producive, so I possibly could support this game - if ever made - by planning and ideating. Tai, PM me if you ever accept my help.

aww ... sorry guys, I'm working again (was sick as a dog last week, which sucked, but allowed me to hang out here more), so I'm in non-talkie mode again.
I'm definitely still considering it... I suppose I should first decide what language to work with... then I can brush up along with working on the idea itself.
But I'm not too up on the pros and cons between various languages for the purpose of creating a game, so that requires some research as well. I'm assuming C++, but I may be better off trying something else, it's been a while.

Once I get the ideas formulated, I wouldn't mind some assistance, it would be a huge project to undertake by myself.

This should be pretty easy to do in Dev-C++, with Allegro. I wouldn't mind doing the coding. 't Gives me extra experience in it again, so I'll learn more, plus a sim-game doesn't really have too complicated algorithms (like a random dungeon algorithm
) Just give me the word of what should be done, and I'll get to it

I'd at least like to try to code it myself, as I probably need the practice more than you do anyway
But great suggestion, I'm currently looking at dev-C++ (IDE), MinGW32 (compiler), and Allegro (library) for my cheap-as-dirt developing suite

Best combination, I'd say. Dev-C++ can install the libraries automatically, too, so you don't need to worry too much 'bout that.

This is a unique and great idea for a managament game...

DakaSha:if you go into a kindergarden and give all the kids rubber schlongs they will prob just hit each other over the head with them
DakaSha:and you have a class of little kids hitting eachother with rubber dongs which must be quite funny (also Picklweasel knight I am)

Yeah, I can help. Ideas, music, that kind of thing. Same as DD actually, but he's a fair bit more talented than me, so I'll just be a reservist as it is.
