That may come because the creators of Gate 88 openly admit being inspired by it :-)
Just as a side note: You can change the style of your secondary weapon from "roll shot" to a homing missile thing by pressing the X key in the title screen. It will say something like "roll mode" or "homing mode" in the top right. Homing missiles make this a LOT easier, if you ask me :-) -------------------- Aw crap, I'm bloggified!
