Sorry if this is a dumb question, but why is this an adventure?:P The review rather reads as if it was a sort of simple strategy game.

Nah, I've got the thing and it's more like a finance-based adventure than anything else. You have to get money and then you go around the world getting spices and wives from just about everywhere.

There is some business strategy in there though, I suppose.

*edits* Wouldn't it be "Abu is a young Shi'ite muslim"? Isn't Shi'a the religion itself?

Oh well, I suppose my definition of an adventure game is restricted to the "pick up everything you see and keep talking to people until they begin to repeat themselves" type of adventures, then. So is that why Pirates Gold is classified as an adventure on AB?

Probably, it'd make sense. Shooter game are very rarely an adventure, since an adventure usually requires some kind of plot, however games about piracy (for example the brilliant 'hxor 4') usually do have some minor adventure lark to them.

I had the same thought might be a strategy game, but if you do some poking around the home page, it mentions some qualities that make it an adventure game.

:) I only just noticed that this game has a slightly bizarre Google ad:
"Muslim singles in UK
1000s of Muslims seeking partners. Join them now, for Free."
The only connection to the game that I can see it the "free" bit, really...
