I'm afraid not. I don't even know how those thingies work. :bleh:
You don't know how Norwegian CDs work?

That's a surprise to me!  :D

Recently picked up Reign of Fire... it's an OK film, but the ending is both rubbish and predictable, not to mention the film being a bit... well... unrealistic...

I was thinking of picking up Serenity whenever it was to come out, then when I was watching tv yesterday I found out it was just released, heh well I may still, it was a pretty good movie, has to be really worth it after picking up the Sin City DVD extended cut last week, which is probably one of the best dvd's of the year in terms of amount of content.

DD, would you be surprised if I told you that there's no such wide-spread recording (vinyl/cd) that I hadn't heard? My opinion remains the same, Powerslave + Rime of the Ancient Mariner. But, opinions, opinions... :bleh:

With all the dragons and stuff you mean? :bleh:

Serenity, Joss Whedon (Buffy) is behind it isn't he?

Might be worth the ink it'll take to put it on my christmas list. What do those that have seen it think of it? Also, I haven't seen the series (firefly?) will that detract from the overall experience or is there enough backstory for me to understand what is going on?

I recently bought nothing!

Rented The Descent a week or two ago... Fantastic Brainless Slasher Movie :D A bit slow to pick up though. It is at heart a slasher movie but it's padded out with story that it really doesn't need considering the type of film it is. The ending is just... brilliant  :w00t:

Powerslave is a great album and Rime of the Ancient Mariner is their best epic track but Brave New World, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, and Piece of Mind are better records as a whole. IMO of course :D

I'm not so sure about Piece of Mind, but I agree with Brave New World and Seventh Son.
Furthermore, it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed.

But Piece of mind has got the classic song "The Trooper." "Flight of Icarus." "Where eagles dare." and the cheesy classic "Quest for Fire." :bleh:

I have to say that IMO all of those are only so-so, except for Quest for Fire, which is excellent. :bleh:

I hadn't seen them and I still quite liked the film.

By realistic I meant : How did the Americans somehow get masses of technology together whilst fighting off dragons?

Anyway, any more than that'd ruin the plot for you.

Ahhhh you like Quest for fire? :bleh: And not the trooper, I can understand flight of icarus and where eagles dare not liking those, but the trooper, the one song that pretty much every metal fan can agree is one of the best Iron Maiden tracks of all time, for shame! :D

Got to agree there DD, the Trooper is excellent, obviously one of the greatest, but not the greatest. And that's IMO of course. And I know that I haven't heard every damn song of Iron Maiden, but quoting myself:

Quote

there's no such wide-spread recording (vinyl/cd) that I hadn't heard
Note the "wide-spread". And I wonder if the rest is that good it could compete with their wide-spread stuff? Anyways, they're still the best, Powerslave and Rime of the Ancient Mariner!!! :bleh:  :D
