Isn't it just track 1 and 5 that are cover-medleys?

And they aren't true cover songs, when they swap from Pink Floyd to Queen

Course the album rocks, change of seasons makes it rock! 24 mins of rockin music whoo   Hearing Labrie do a cover of perfect strangers is killer, practically as good as the cover Bruce Dickinson did with DT in 1998.

Plus this Balls to Picasso album, great tracks all around disc 1 great stuff, disc 2 bonus tracks, even better, 3 different versions of tears of a dragon whee. :D

Well picked up Accident of Birth by Bruce Dickinson, now I have all his "studio" albums minus Tattooed Millionare (Which doesn't count because the rereleased version hasn't hit NA yet) :D so I own them all, leaves me his live 3 disc set, but anyways I have to say this is probably his best work, when he finally returned to his metal roots after experimenting with Balls to Picasso and Skunkworks, hit after hit, Road to Hell, Darkside of Aquarius, Man of Sorrow, Arc of Space, Omega, The magician, Accident of Birth, so many good tracks on this album, 2nd CD is meh mostly demos of him singing boo  only decent track is man of sorrows which he sings in Spanish, and as a spanish speaker I have to say he pulls off a pretty damn good job of the song. A most worthy pickup today. :D

^I've been saying it for years, Accident of Birth is by far Bruce Dickinson's best work. Glad you finally got around to it. :D

Arc of Space

Definitely have to agree, was hesisitant because Chemical Wedding is I thought was his best solo work because of the more heavier tracks on the album but all around have to give the edge to Accident of Birth.

Picked up Falling Into Infinity by Dream Theater yesterday. Was the last cd I needed for my complete DT collection. Been hearing bad things about this album for years but really sat down to listen to it yesterday and was literally blown away. This album shows the mellower, catchier side of Dream Theater like no other. One listen to Peruvian Skies will sell anyone on this album. This is a sound DT never really captured again and is a real gem in their catalogue. Substance over complexity on this one, a new fave.

Well after months of buying my collection of Bruce Dickinson is finally practically complete minus tattooed millionare which doesn't count since rereleased version not released here and original can't find here either. Today picked up alive, 3 CD's of live material, first CD is live in the studio where apparently he was performing with his band for an American radio station,

2nd CD Live at the Marquee live show great performance, heck some of the songs wasn't sure about it before I now enjoy off the balls to picasso cd.

Finally 3rd CD Scream for me Brazil where he played his chemical wedding cd and a couple of accident of births tracks too killer performance, loud crowd holy, odd thing though this cost me 28.69 this 3 CD package while his other 2 Disc rereleased packages are the same price. Now I wonder who screwed up the pricing on this.

Eek purchases some things recently let's see couple of days ago picked up

Sin City! This is the 2 disc recut extended edition, they released a barebones edition in september here, with barely any special features and well for this movie since it was one of my favs of the year, had to get the special edition with all the special features, quite a bit of em 35 bucks for it total but more than worth it. :tai:

Iron Maiden- The Number of the Beast- 3rd album by Maiden, one of their finest works with such hits as Number of the Beast, Run to the hills, Hallowed be thy name, Total Eclipse, great pick up for 15 bucks.

Fintroll - Visor Om Slutet (Acoustic Folk Death metal. Yep, you heard it here first )

John Petrucci - Suspended Animation (Ordered this off his web site. Not expecting this one until Febuary at the earliest)
