Was a bit shocked to see this album marked down, but Iron Maiden's Live After Death album here always costs about 35 bucks.
Still there was a sale for 2 cds for 25 bucks and this one was one of the choices, so picked it up. Now have seen the dvd of this concert from back in 1984, and after hearing the unfortunate bad performance of Bruce on that, always tended to avoid picking this album up.
Still after hearing it, this is a much better represenation of Bruce and the entire band since the concert on the cd was apparently recorded a different day than their video shoot, (The concert was recorded over 4 nites in Long Beach California, that's how they were able to pull it off) at their highest peak at the time in 1984-1985 on their world slavery tour, which ran from August 9, 1984 to July 5, 1985, doubt many bands today could pull off something like that.
Great CD nevertheless and still enjoying it, a great live album all around, with many of their great hits, 2 minutes to Midnight, Aces High, Revelations, Rime Of The Ancient Mariner, Powerslave and more.

Oh it's recent in a way, long as it's a buy of some sorts that's all that matters.

Yeah think that's enough.
Let's get back on topic.
Anyways hopefully this time around can get the Kamelot DVD on Dec 4, got delayed from the 21st, although word around the net is that it's an astounding dvd concert and well worth the wait, so they say, they are the ones that don't have to wait in NA.

Nevermore- In Memory EP My last Nevermore CD that needed to collect to finish off their collection, before the fall actually it was pretty much impossible to find this CD in stores, but with the recent remaster of their first 3 albums, its back on the shelf again, only about 5 songs the CD with 5 more demos, much darker than their debut album, but interesting to see how the band was progressing at the time with their sound.

Kamelot- A Cold Winter's Night Finally after much waiting, I finally picked up this much anticipated DVD from these guys, and wow is all I can say. I heard good things about the DVD, but it blew my expectations away. Have not seen all of it so far, but from what I have seen it's a great concert, interesting presentation too, using 18 cameras to film the show, great energy from the crowd and just all around great show thus far, the band is really on top, and the 2nd disc has a bunch of interviews from the band, some music vids and more, definitely a worthwhile pickup.
