Metallica- Kill Em All The debut album by Metallica, picked it up mainly to see the contributions Dave Mustaine from Megadeth had before he was kicked out of metallica and it shows, some tracks like jump in the fire, the four horsemen, phantom lord, metal militia, lot of Mustaine influence even some of the solos are influenced, overall though very awesome album. Even has Anathasia (Pulling Teeth) wicked bass solo from one of the best bassists Cliff Burton (RIP) :)

Metallica- Ride The Lightning Second album of Metallica's where you can see more of the band getting new material, the album is growing on me some great tracks like Ride the lighting, trapped under ice, escape and the call of ktulu, superb work.

Danko Jones - We Sweat Blood

'nuff said.
What is it about a beautiful sunny afternoon, with the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, that makes you want to get drunk?

Metallica- ...And Justice For All Imo Metallica's last great album before the black album (Which is still listenable but still a big change from their earlier work) Very progressive this album, but some great tracks all around and this is where you can see Metallica wanting to head in a different direction with their music.

And also this sat going to get a ticket for the Tool Concert on Aug 25, whoo so excited. :)

Devin Townsend- Ocean Machine - Biomech The CD I ordered from the music place here finally got this CD in and it's a shame they don't bring this copy in, anyways this is a fabulous cd from Devin, and as well I completed my studio collection of Devin Townsend, so yay and the CD rocks turning into my favs, ranking up there with Terria and Accelerated Evolution. The man simply can't put out a bad record it seems. :D

Stratovarius- Visions Picked up some Stratovarius and checked out this album, very impressive stuff and peaked my interest to pick up some more of their stuff.

Oh and finished off my Iron Maiden collection last week with picking up Virtual XI, all 13 studio albums in my collection whee. LOL

Bruce Dickinson- Anthology This interesting 3 DVD set details the solo career of the Iron Maiden frontman, back in the mid-90's comes with 3 concerts, promo vids for all his music videos, an interview about his latest solo album tyranny of souls, and something interesting known as biceps of steel, where he was fronting Samson before joining Maiden, cost 23 bucks for 3 DVD's a most excellent collection that been waiting for a long time.

DragonForce-Inhuman Rampage Picked up this cd cause it was sorta cheap and well wanted to check these guys out, seems to be a combination of power/speed metal but honestly nothing impressive I found with these guys, minus the guitarist who is really superb, other than that, yawn.

Megadeth-Rude AwakeningPicked up the live cd set to listen to at home rather than having to put it in the dvd player every time I want to watch, cause imo a superb concert.

Luca Turilli's Dreamquest- Lost Horizons Another new album from the guitarist of Rhapsody, a new project for him where he plays keyboards instead of guitar and involves a talented female vocalist, very promising. :P

I love the movies too. In my opinion they are the best movies to be made in the last years. They are captivating from beginning to end, and the cast selection is excellent. :P

Bravo, Peter Jackson!

I agree that there's great actors in it and they have done good job, but the story misses very important scenes and action is sometimes even ridiculous, mocking J.R.R's fine tuned and balanced style. Like Legolas killing that oliphaunt... Argh... Also some humorous scenes are poorly done and unlogical. Such as Gimli almost falling in Moria. "Not from the beard!" Argh... Also Minas Tirith was ridiculously exaggerated, not to mention those siege weapons...

hmm Juni have you seen the extended cuts of the movie? If you've just seen the originals you should really see these ones as they add a lot that was cut out because of time constraints and such.

Anyways, buyage.

Nevermore- Dreaming Neon Black A concept album of sorts from Nevermore I haven't listened to them in a long while, so picked up this album, really good listen, different styles in the album, soft, hard, progressive, power, speed elements pretty nice all around, must start getting more of these guys. :P

Otherwise, there's not much point spending my money on the extended versions.

Frodo, I love the books and I've decided to avoid to watch the movies ever again, if only possible!
