Battlestar Galactica - Season 1 DVD (10/10) - One of the best suprises of the last few years for me. Brilliant show with intriguing storylines and deep characters. Probably my favorite sci-fi since Babylon 5, wow what a find!!

Nerthus - Black Medieval Art (9/10) - Literally the most Medieval cd I've ever heard. Death metal mixed with Zelda type video game music. More flutes, oboes and hapsichords than all the Rhapsody albums combined. Almost too cheesy for its own good....maybe thats why I like it :(

@Dvoe: Did you ever get that Elegy?

I've had this album for a while now but just listened to it for the first time about 3 days ago. It absolutely blew me away, I might actually like it more than Tales From the Thousand Lakes. I don't really have a favorite track because the whole album front to back is so solid. I also like the fact that the whole album was inspired by finnish folk tales, u almost feel like you're sitting in a forest somewhere in Norway on a cold Takatalvi night :P

Song of the Troubled One!! :(

...oh and sry for the double post

Iron Maiden- Iron Maiden Dun Dun the first album from Iron Maiden! Just finished listening to it and wow this is very impressive debut for them, lots of great songs prowler, remember tomorrow, running free, phantom of the opera pretty much every track on here is stellar, and Paul Di'ano there first vocalist sounds a lot better than on the next album killers, still prefer Bruce, but glad I picked this album up finally, one more to go to complete my Maiden studio albums collection. :(

Iron Maiden The Early Days- Documentary about Iron Maidens from when they started out with interviews from the band, and former members, and also some additional concert footage from that era, been wanting to pick this up as this is a must have for any Maiden fan.

It's a great song. Original lyrics and definitely considered one of their best ballads up there with Rime of the Ancient Mariner, Hallowed be thy Name, and others. :(

The 4400 Season 2 One of my recent favourite tv shows, unfortunately because I can't get the channel that airs that show here, haven't been able to see season 2, so picked it up today finally after much looking, and super excited to see what happened this past season. :P

Arsenal of Megadeth Newest megadeth collection of videos, interviews, live concert footage and more, decided to pick it up to add to the collection.

Also ordered in Devin Townsend's Ocean Machine and hoping it'll come, say change may or may not, unfortunately no luck on megadeth's first album killing is my business. :( Will have to check at the store I got 4400 from, hopefully can get it ordered there.

Iron Maiden- Rock in Rio Finally long time coming and saving picked up the dvd from the concert, one of the best Iron Maiden live performances, great set list and all that, the camera work though a little much, but still one of the best live concerts imo. :(

Luca Turilli- The Infinite Wonders Of Creation Was checking out some CD's and they never have this guy in, but with blind luck found an album by him and it's his latest solo album and it came with a bonus cd too whee. Anyways this guy is the guitarist from Rhapsody, pretty much the mastermind of that band and this is his solo project 3rd one, and it's very epic symphonic sort of metal, very interesting so far, liking it so far. :)

Megadeth- Rude Awakening DVD of their concert in I believe 2001 or 2002 in Phoneix, Arizona before they actually called it quits some time later (Although they obviously reformed by now) anyways what set list they played, 25 songs, pretty good performances not too much jumping around or being crazy, just musicians showing their prowess by playing.

Just bought 4 cd's.. yay. 3 of them Finnish bands, though, but whatever..

Sielun Veljet - Sielun Veljet
Pekka Streng & Tasavallan Presidentti - Magneettimiehen kuolema
Kollaa Kestää - Jäähyväiset Aseille
David Bowie - Ziggy Stardust

EDIT: Oh, this was for movies, too.. I bought The Beatles' Help on a DVD a while ago, and just borrowed Akira Kurosawa's Akahige (aka. Red Beard) DVD from the library. Yay.
What is it about a beautiful sunny afternoon, with the birds singing and the wind rustling through the leaves, that makes you want to get drunk?

Ayeron- The Human Equation Now this album to hear it all the way through is an experience itself, Arjen the mastermind of Ayeron basically gets guest singers to sing on his albums, all based on concept ideas, he also sings, plays guitar and bass and produces the album, this time around the main star is James LaBrie from Dream Theater and many other guest stars including one of my favs Devin Townsend!

More info cause really I can't cover it all.  :)

Blind Guardian- Battalions Of Fear First album by this group decided to grab, definitely very different then there future releases, their first 2 albums are more into the speed metal genre, not a ton of melodies but interesting to hear, prob not my fav but will have to get used to it.
