Ok sorry for the rude part, I DIDN'T MEAN THAT REALLY, I was just kidding (sorry). Now, here's the deal. All the newspapers wrote about him, some said one thing, another said some different, so he wrote a story to let it all out, even though I still don't belive everything...

Writing a story to "let it all out" can be a cleverly planned publicity stunt as well, you know...
Seriously, who's ever going to check up on such a story by actually going around trying to find out which twenty churches he allegedly burnt down and whether he really burnt them down or just singed them a bit, how exactly (if at all) he killed that fellow band member and all that? And who cares, really? It's part of the 'eeeevil black metal' image, and that's what the fans expect. We had a very heated debate about ganster rap a while ago, and I'd say this is a similar situation: If this Burzum fellow happened to be a really nice person in private - the type who helps kittens across the road and rescues little old ladies from trees - he'd have a very hard time explaining it if anyone ever saw him. ("Uh, I was going to sacrifice that kitten, honest.")

On a slightly more on-topic note: if I survive until the end of 4th week, I WILL go and buy myself Yes Prime Minister on DVD. Just two more weeks...

Well, I can't imagine what he was like. Maybe he was some scared out freak ...
He build a home in some forest in Norway,.

Anyway, we got away from the topic, sorry.

My friend just got me into Japanese (or Chinese, or Korean, I dunno) music and anime, and I have to admit, after assuming in a naive point of view that every anime is basically pokemon and crud, most of its pretty cool....

Wells even knowing black metal with the little that I do, since it's not really my genre of choice in metal, still seems pretty out there imo, writing the newspaper and such and blah blah, really sounds more like something to gather publicity, but that's just my take on it.

Back on topic uh probably won't be getting anything for a good while, got to pay some bills and such and yeah, but if I'm lucky may be getting soon Broken Sword 1 and 2 and later on the feb 15 In flames new cd. :P

Is the DVD packaging for P.U.L.S.E. as nice as the CD? I only really bought that one for the nifty sleeve.

Not quite on topic, but I just wanted to show off a bit  - I got tickets this morning for Sue Perkins, Dara O'Briain, Dylan Moran and Paul Merton (and his impro chums) gigs, which is quite exciting. Yay!

I did buy the Kooks album and The Man-Machine - can't believe it's taken me this long, listening to electroclash, synthpop and electronica, to get round to buying the album that marks the beginning of modern dance and pop music!

It's cool Beef to mention concerts here, myself already got 3 concerts coming up this saturday Sonata Artica, March 7- Kreator and Napalm Death and March 8- Opeth and Dark Tranquality.

Only really recent thing I got that's related to music, would be a new mic, about 70 bucks but excellent quality and will be helpful in the future. :P

Oh, I'd love to see Sonata Arctica. I wouldn't mind seeing Opeth either.

I just ordered the Hammer Horror Series (franchise collection) dvd package. It contains The Brides of Dracula, The Curse of the Werewolf, The Evil of Frankenstein, Night Creatures, Kiss of the Vampire, Nightmare, Paranoiac and The Phantom of the Opera. I hope it gets here soon. :P
Furthermore, it is my opinion that Carthage must be destroyed.

Picked up a new cd today had to pay day. :P

Megadeth- Rust in Peace- One of the best megadeth album, many would say and I have to agree, definitely tops of their collections back when they were good.

And probably going to pick up a sonata cd tonight, hoping to meet the band after the show and wouldn't be a bad thing to have a cd on me.

and The Phantom of the Opera.
You mean the one with Lon Chaney or the 1962 movie - which is quite different from the original story.
