Ayreon - The Human Equation (This album may be Arjen Lucassen's shining star...and that's saying something considering his previous works)
Falkenbach - Ok Nefna Tysbar Ty (Awesome Viking metal from Germany featuring lots of flute and acoustic guitars)
Ulver - Themes from William Blake's The Marriage of Heaven & Hell (Although urban & noirish, Ulver's music completely fits William Blake's centuries old mystical wanderings)

I gotta say these are the best cd purchases I've made in well over a year. Inspired challenging music. :ot:

Well, off-topic, but relatively close, I just finished watching Band of Brothers. And I still have to admit that it is good, especially if one can forget the US-worshipping in it.

Just imagine they're all British and it's perfect. Brilliant series as it stands.

:ot: First of all, Finns and Swedes have very little common except common sense, which seems to be lacking in the rest of the world! :)

Americans and Britans have even less in common I can assure you of that. Although I am grouping a very large society together and baseing my opinions of my online and television exposure to them. I have met very few in real life and surely they can't all be as bad as Bush?.

DakaSha:if you go into a kindergarden and give all the kids rubber schlongs they will prob just hit each other over the head with them
DakaSha:and you have a class of little kids hitting eachother with rubber dongs which must be quite funny (also Picklweasel knight I am)

I've seen it a few times.. not watched it though. Mainly been on in the background..

Back on topic!

My recent purchase '28 Days Later' was rather slow but still enjoyable. Didn't blow me away and wasn't as gory and fright-filled as I imagined but it was pretty good.

I might watch one of the others later aswell.. if I do I'll let you know what I thought!

Some recent purchases that will be getting in next while.

Dream Theater- Six Degrees of Inner Turbulance- Have heard some of the tracks off this album and would've picked it up, problem is around here it's about 30 bucks and as much as I'm a dream theater fan, that's way too much for a cd of theirs, so got it off of amazon for 22, can't wait to hear their huge 44 min track, six degrees of inner turbulance. :ot:

Curse of Monkey Island- Just managed to find a copy off ebay complete with original box, instructions, sleeve art, all that stuff plus game, been waiting long time to play this game. :)
