Not sure I would agree with the review. The game felt rather winding to me, and nothing really happens in this chapter until the very end. There were quite few good jokes there, but they were so buried in endless floods of words and repeating motifs (how many times do I need to hear about Prick’s ex-wife?) that once the game comes to them, you feel numbed or to annoyed to laugh.

And the graphics style? While the guy has skill in drawing characters, the whole style feels unpolished and sketchy. Perhaps not a bad thing itself, but on quite few places the game does look too much like “kindergarten art”.

Also, the lack of sounds and half of MIDI tracks being annoying...I don't know.

Maybe I should have played the entire Barn Runner saga to appreciate this installment more.

To conclude, this didn't even come near to my all time favorite freeware adventure games - Reactor 9 and Cedric and the Revolution.

I find Prick's comments hilarious.  I love how he keeps blocking out conversations, and adds his own dialogue, :max:.

If the 'endless floods of words' is not for you, maybe play it again, but with Director's Mode turned off?  That would take out some extra content and longer conversations.  Maybe you would prefer it then.

There are some other Barn Runner games here on Reloaded.  Why don't you try some of them as well?
