That's a genius idea - imagine an epic battle to the death as pixel Moogle and pixel Tom (in his smurf guise) try to pixel monsters and weaponry faster than the other, creating armies to serve them until eventually one person's pencil tool breaks (or they suffer from RSI) and a victor is declared!
