We go by Be Prepared as well (and for those who want to have a little extra information: We don't translate it, as the initials of that saying're also the initials of the founder of the Scouts )
That's my left pocket, right? Then it's probably my keys and my opinel (nr. 10, although that'd show differently ) I haven't had a Swiss army knife in ages, as you can't do half of the things with it you could do with an opinel.

I just know that Tiki is always telling me that Belgian Scouts are nothing like American Scouts

That's cause we aren't. Or at least not my group. American Scouts're too much aiming at individual prestation, while we're more aimed at getting done what needs to be done. All those badges you can earn there, like Lintworm Catcher, Knitter, etc, are something we don't have and don't want to have. Along with that, most American Scouts're said to be quite naive, which we aren't (You'd have to hear what's said at campfires or during dinner in our group )

Then again, Scouts Aarschot's rather notorious between other groups, so I can really only speak of our group.

Here's one I took today on the foreshore of the bay beach.  I airbrushed some lipstick onto the photo as I looked sun-bleached.  I thought I did a pretty cool job until someone said,  "What's that stuff on your mouth?"
