And by the way, the Manual was written at Oxford University and has a LOT of irrelevant detail in it.
Now what exactly is that supposed to mean?

Piss off Danny, it's in York. No offence, mate, as they say here.

A.J - All it means is that there is a lot of technical information and the historic background of the IF genre. This information is, for all intents and purposes, irrelevant. What you want to learn from the manual is how to code IF, not how the genre was created at MIT a fair time ago by some students who then let their friends play it.

Nothing other than that.

Well, yes, obviously.:) That's got nothing to do with Oxford, though, has it?

Oh, by the way, to please Danny you could include a tattered copy of A Shropshire Lad by AE Housman somewhere.;)

I'll see what I can do. Progress is at slow-to-nil levels though, what with the house being completely redone (to the extent that I can hardly hear myself type this over masonry drills...).

;), this IF manual is worse than I thought :)
Like I have to learn a completely new programming language ;)
Not that I don't have my own problems with Java, Delphi and C. And the university too... ugh...

Okay, I'll see what I can do... ;) Everything for the team ;)

Read the beginner's guide first! Otherwise it's very hard.

Yizzle it izzle, I'm very sorrizzle.

It's more the getting it started that's hard to do. I've just got a lot of work to do (Continual Harassment, whoops, Assessment and all of that) and not a huge amount of free time.

I'll try and get it started in the next couple of weeks, house being willing (please don't make me paint the kitchen, please...) and then it should be done in a few days or a week.

Yeah, indeed. One thing I'm still unsure about is 'shizzle' mode. I'm thinking about only including shizzle in the rap battles outside of work, not in the whole game. Because who'd really speak shizzle for the whole time of their life, even in they were a 14-year old with a full time job at KFC after getting thrown out of school.

That would take away part of the fizzle, though, wouldn't it?

It's still going to bizzle in the game, but only in sensibizzle places, fo' shizzle.

Anyway, I'm thinking about letting people type in shizzle, but the whole narrative and stuff (other than in the rap battles) wouldn't be in shizzle.

Sorry if that ruins it, I just want it to be easy to understizzle.
