I dunno, Clive Barker's Jericho looks better in my opinion, and I don't mean by the graphics. Since Operation Flashpoint's release this concept is getting kind of dry, in other word's it's been getting boring.

Well, I disagree, because realistic shooters are vey rare and the story is the one that makes the difference. Plus the unlimited editing possibilities.

Flashpoint was to FPSes what Dwarf fortress is to roguelikes.

It's not that they're rare, it's that games like Operation Flashpoint and even the recent ArmA have become boring in the time I've played them, they're too much of the same, and Operation Flashpoint 2 isn't shaping up to be much different.
It's the same as Half-Life 2, I was entirely bored of shooters before the game came out, the only reason I played it was because the story and cinematic gameplay ended up being better than I expected.
The way this is going the only way I'm going to play OpFlash2 is if they do some major revisions.
And for *meep*'s sake, someone should really mess with the radio transmission sounds because it's loud and hurts my ears.

I'm most likely getting this, and Blood-Pigggy, I can't agree with you on that one, I absolutely love Realistic FPS games(except America's army cos that one is just gay), and every single one of them usually has a nice twist to make it feel new and orginal.. Besides, codemasters pwn.

Operation Flashpoint 2 isn't from the same developers as the first one. And as far as I can see, Codemaster's just the publisher. The evil corporation that stole the IP from those who created it: Bohemia Interactive.
Still, if it actually follows the spirit of OFP, and I can get it to work properly (unlike ArmA *sniff*), then bring it on!
