Spuds Quest is a wonderful game inspired by the classic Dizzy series. It's sort of homage to Dizzy games.

The original series always attracted me, but I could never get pass the awkward movement, limited amount of lives in quite lethal worlds, and no save game feature.

Spuds Quest, on the other hand, has all the good elements of Dizzy games (atmosphere, graphics, puzzles), but fixes all the holes they had, including less lethal world, very enjoyable and smooth movement (great engine) and a save game feature.





I simply loved this game. From the imaginative world, puzzles, to brilliant retro-style graphics. Another retro game I find hard to believe that it features completely original content.

Ooh yeah.  I had this game a while ago, and loved it.  
Then I forgot about it.  Must start playing it again.  Never finished it the last time.
