The wrong pair of trousers, you mean. He was talking of his hip-pocket.;)

It could have been a trenchcoat, but I digress.

Trenchcoat? "As long as I have my trousers I have a hip-pocket, and as long as I have my hip-pocket I have something in it." - How much more obvious can you get?:)

Maybe his trenchcoat was sewed to his trousers so he always had both, or he'd accidentally tucked the trenchcoat into the trousers (might be a bit far-fetched, that one...)

Ok Ok I repent...maybe he wore the wrong pants

(takes his Royal Navy Lashings)

So what would be everyone's favorite Holmes Short story or Novel?

I have always been partial to the "Adventure of the Speckled Band"

Ah, that's the one which usually ends up being voted as the best Sherlock Holmes story. :)  I like The Bruce Partington Plans better, actually, although that story doesn't seem to be very popular in general. The Engineer's Thumb is rather nice as well (and it's also one of the most ludicrous stories).

Yeah - the odds of an engineer still having his thumbs are practically zero! :)

I've never read any TBH, so I don't know.

You haven't read any of the stories? :) Try Camden House: all of the stories with the original illustrations.

Returning to the subject of Tim Westwood, Screen Burn in the Guardian TV guide this week had this to say about Pimp My Ride UK: "...Tim Westwood, a white fortysomething son of a bishop whose interminable "wigga" stance inspired Ali G. Watching him in action is like watching a sequence in a crap Hollywood comedy in which Leslie Nielsen has to black up and infiltrate a record label." :)

I read that :)  Charlie Brooker is a genius (he used to write for PCZone btw, then he mysteriously disappeared and now pops up writing the occassional column and book).

Ah the Westwizzle himsizzle. He's gonna pimp your rizzle.

He's so bloody white. It's hilarious. And he just agrees with everything that his rapper 'friends' say.

Did you know that he's been shot at twice?

It wasn't me - he ranks just below Boris Johnson on the list of people I'd detest if I didn't find them absolutely hilarious.

:) Yeah. He's lucky that he has no sense of irony. If he did, I would personally get me and my mates a home Molotov Cocktail kit and then roam the streets of London looking for him.
