I absolutely love this game, perhaps there could be a leader board for high scores on the site? so people send in screenshots of their high score table and you get an overall picture of how good people are at the game?

I can tell one thing. This is old!
 Unfortunatelly, tuxracer was taxed. That's not good, but some good ppl continued open-source work and created ppracer: http://projects.planetpenguin.de/racer/ Its almost the same, but more abbilities and some upgrades. More fun ;-] Besides its only for linux, but since i am linux user, its not problem to me... |

Yeah, I have this from 2003 on a PC Gamer disc.

Well, very good idea to bring up the idea of good ol´spy hunter. But I miss some mor abilities, Think ther were mor in the original. But I might be wrong...

The game lags like hell! I have an 866 Mhz machine with 256 mb ram and a geforce 4mx. Is just a setting incorrect or is my pc too lame for this game?

It really plays like it too, just with penaltys for shooting regular cars. |

what i don't like with this one is that you can't really stop + it has key jamming issues (which can be resolved by setting osme other keys) and also the car steers kind of strangelly if you don't drive fast. :-/
otherwise it was interesting for a while. i picked it up at spectrum remakes site... |
