Try reinstalling RPG Maker 2000, that might do the trick.

I love the game but did I miss something or is the game really short? It gave me a game over after fighting Master Ninja George. Maybe because Snark had fained before the battle was over? Is he the person you control after that battle? because if so I will try it again. It was a hard battle and if for some reason that is the end i don't want to keep trying it.
Thanks for any help.
I ended up answering my own question. All I have to say is that the game isn't over yet and I still like it.

I encountered a game stopping bug.
Im stuck right outside Mr. Golgath's mansion, at the part where you are supposed to go through the water treatment center. I talked to the old man, he agreed to let me go in, and then as soon as I enter it gives me a message saying I cant hold my breath anymore, urgh, and game over. I dont even get the chance to move, and im not even in the water yet.
I reloaded to a previous game and redid the raft ride and went to the place again to see if it was a glitch with my save, but I encountered the same problem again.
Anyone else have this? Is there a workaround? I was enjoying the game up until this point, and now I can't finish it. I hate leaving things unfinished

Well, I just beat the game
and found out it was just a demo.
Was it ever finished? If so where can I download it? if it wasn't finished then all right.
If you're reading this before downloading, I still enjoyed it and would recommend it
(though a full version would be better.)

As far as I know from what I could find it was never finished. There is another version with better tile sets for the first city and you start at level 50 so you don't have to worry about battles and just enjoy the story as far as it goes.
Oddly enough it looks like the author is working on a second game in the series even though he never finished the first.
Also I agree to anyone reading this still give it a play as it is very fun.

Yeah never was finished unfortunately but still a really good game, and quite a bit material to see and explore.

Could someone tell me how to get through the broken planes?
I'm assuming this isn't a glitch, but there are 2 ways to go. One of them has two paths that it keeps switching between, not allowing me to get any further. The other has 3 options where a path might join up to them but each time I go near the joined path it moves to a different place.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Sorries for the long delay, unfortunately I don't recall what ya have to do in this scenario, since its been a long time since I played the game, sorries about that.
From what I can remember I think you have to stick to the second path, with the 3 areas, and just keep traveling them, sort of like trial and error to get through, but again I'm not completely sure about this, hope it might help though.

How do you save? I go to the crystal, it asks me if I want to save, and I say "yes" then it asks me which file to save to. No matter what I do or type nothing ever shows up as a saved game and when I go back in sure enough there are no saved games.
HELP!
