[Puffin]

I've got 6 days left of the vacation, and WAY TOO MUCH TO FINISH for school. Then there's one week of school, then exams.
Oh, and I haven't found an extra job. Without that, I'm screwed.

My grandma always gets me to do something else than studying. Like saying "you've studied too much, come and watch TV with me, eat cake and candy". HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO SAY NO TO THAT??????

My day didn't suck at all. I've finally passed the exams, now I got license for my job and I'm going to visit my employer next tuesday to schedule my shifts! And man I look silly in that suit...

Well I for one can finally report some good news.
After having been declined by every university I applied to in England safe one; today I finally received my reply from the last university I had applied to: King's College London.
A conditional offer.

Ever since my last rejection I had been living in fear, dreading the day the final university would respond, for I had already resigned myself to the safe - yet slightly depressing - thought that I would be denied there as well.

Anyway, I haven't been this happy in quite a few months.

Well i'm going to the Horrible Samræmdu exams. Those are like the final exams for all the tenth graders in iceland and it is the determinant on which school you will go in after the tenth grade, and i am going to try to go the college of Reykjavík which should be tough. And since 1990 is the year many people decided to have kids, and is the years with the most people ever born in a year in iceland, Then it is even tougher!

But those exams are in like 3 weeks or some.......and t hose test are what we have learned from 1 grade up to 10 grade!

Sounds a bit like an exam I had a few months ago, the Yerushalmi.
It's a big test comprising 6 years of material, such as: Israeli history and culture, Hebrew literature (before and after WW2) and Hebrew grammar and vocabulary.

The big difference is, the Yerushalmi - whilst mandatory for me - serves no purpose. It does not help nor hinder me. I don't know if that is a good thing really, since I had to waste quite a bit of my time studying tons of books for nothing.

Aaaaaah samræmdu prófin... Damn, I'm sorry I remember when I had them... During the easter vacation, I went out of town (to where I am now, but stayed with my aunt there -> less tv-stations), to study. I studied and studied and studied and studied. I read all the science books (biology, genology, physics, all that stuff) at least 3 times. What are they... 7? 9? something like that. I finished the "General Maths III" book 8 times (not just during the vacation, but all in all).
I scored quite well on the exams
