Rrrrright... My mom's brother and his wife came few moments ago and now all they have to speak about is grandma. And they are looking back and laugh at her little flaws in memory. Real sophisticated. :(
...70 years... LOL

Cripes in a fluted yoghurt pot... that sounds like this weekend's not going to be fun, then.

On the other hand, you're not the only one with work to do - I have to do a huge rulebook, full of rules that I have to make, for a board game adaption of the first X-Com game!

Aieee!

Ah, yes, the NHS does indeed suck (as does being amazingly ill, obviously). Here's something to cheer you up a bit - a witty little poem by Christian Morgenstern. It's about German grammar (well, sort of).

Der Werwolf
Ein Werwolf eines Nachts entwich
von Weib und Kind und sich begab
an eines Dorfschullehrers Grab
und bat ihn: ?Bitte, beuge mich!?
Der Dorfschulmeister stieg hinauf
auf seines Blechschilds Messingknauf
und sprach zum Wolf, der seine Pfoten
geduldig kreuzte vor dem Toten:
?Der Werwolf? - sprach der gute Mann,
?des Weswolfs, Genitiv sodann,
dem Wemwolf, Dativ, wie man?s nennt,
den Wenwolf - damit hat?s ein End?.?
Dem Werwolf schmeichelten die Fälle,
er rollte seine Augenbälle.
Indessen, bat er, füge doch
zur Einzahl auch die Mehrzahl noch!
Der Dorfschulmeister aber mußte
gestehn, daß er von ihr nichts wußte,
Zwar Wölfe gäb?s in großer Schar,
doch ?Wer? gäb?s nur im Singular.
Der Wolf erhob sich tränenblind -
er hatte ja doch Weib und Kind!
Doch da er kein Gelehrter eben,
so schied er dankend und ergeben.

I slept for maybe an hour last night.
It's raining a lot, so the roads suck and I can barely controll the car. And it's windy.
There was a pretty big earthquake.
I didn't get the job I had been hoping to get. Which means I'm pretty much screwed.
The toilet and water doesn't work here at home becasue of some guys working on something in the garden.
I can't hear my music because of the noise of the guys in the garden.
In 35 minutes I have to go back out in the rain and wind and the crappy roads to pick up my mom.
I'm tired.

Hehey, cheers.

And Puffin -

I feel your pain entirely.

We've had builders in for the last deity-knows-when, and they've done nothing of any good.

I also had to rush my mate to hospital on Saturday, as he fell over on the ice, had a concussion and there were no spare ambulances :(.

Bloody NHS.

OH damn, Im glad we dont have much ice here...

I just found out that I probably failed my english course. Which actually makes me kinda happy, because I hate that course and that teacher more than anything. And it's not a mandatory course, so I can take shakespeare or some fun-ness instead. Only thing is that I might have to take an extra semester before I graduate :P

Nice try, but not good enough. You misspelt 'liek' and accidentally put in a few capital letters.:(

I don't like the time when the nights are getting brighter... kinda hard to sleep for the first weeks.. But hey, who doesn't love waking up at 3 in the night, looking out of the window and thinking it's noon already  :(
