Gah! Managed to slip on some mud on my way to work this morning, injuring my arm, knee and hand mildly, damaging my CD player and getting mud on me, so I went back to clean myself up, then went to get the bus since I was running late, only to have it not show up for 5 or 6 minutes after it should have done, which meant I was late for work (and I was late on Tuesday, too - bah). I've got a cold which isn't improved by spending all day on the phone or by breathing in a load of carpet underlay dust yesterday (new carpets fitted today, which is a bit of a bonus). Then hardly anybody bought anything off me while I was at work, and my elbow and knee still hurt, plus I'm feeling really single at the minute and need to find a proper career or something to do with my degree. And I've managed to spend a load of money this month and I'm not sure what on. Bleh!

I feel your pain. I actually fell over in a drowsy state (non-drowsy sinus-emptier my arse) and smacked my head into the side of my bed (which is metal) and was knocked out.

Also, on the single bit, I'm great friends with a girl named Kerry (I don't stop bloody whining about her, sorry) but the other day somebody "hilariously" made up a rumour that I got her pregnant. Now that I've had time off, everyone's been ringing and asking whether I've got some kind of STI. *sighs*

Oh and for a career in maths, you might want to try risk assessment for the Health and Safety board, perhaps. If maths entails that (it does, doesn't it?).

On one side, you'll have to work quite hard, on the other, you're in the best place to recieve much bribery. Plus, if you're into being kind to people then you might find that you've saved someone's life, maybe.

I'm not really sure. And I'm rambling now, so I'll be quiet.

:ok:!

Well, they're all clearly marked on my bank statement, I just don't know how I managed to spend them so quickly. Accountancy strikes me as bwing a bit dull though - unless it's FORENSIC accountancy, that might be fun.

I'm facing the prospect of spending the entire night writing my essay, drinking coffee and having a few twenty-minute naps in between - and the worst bit is that's exactly how I spent last night.:ok:

I love writing essays. Too bad they're generally pretty crappy.

I found a gem from some course I took while moving heavy furniture around and cleaning dust that seems to have risen from the abyss. I apparently titled it: "Wagner: Megalomania and the Gesamtkuntsverk". Ahh... what is academia for, if not for writing pointless essays with ridiculously long, smug titles that you can giggle over later?

Good luck on the essay, Raffles. You're a much better writer than I am, I'm pretty certain, so I have a high level of faith that you'll excel.

Aww that's a bummer AJ. I myself don't mind writing essays, course my profs don't think they are that great unfortunately. Good luck with them, sure you'll do great, now I got to get back to my fun annotated bibliography the joy of it all. :ok:

You're quite a multitasker, tai!  I have to respect someone who can take a course on Wagner while dusting and moving furniture!
Today is a good day for pie.
